Gobble Gobble

Megan invited us to eat Thanksgiving lunch with her at school today.
Lunch was delicious and we had a great time visiting with Megan!

At the beginning of football season I told Ryan that William and I would join him in Auburn on a gameday just as soon as the temperature dropped below 80 degrees. The weather finally cooled off just in time for the last homegame! We packed up and headed down to the lake and then to Auburn first thing Saturday morning. It was William’s first trip to Auburn and my first trip in two years (since I was pregnant with William). William loved walking around in the stroller, taking in all the sites, but could have done without the tailgate. He was glued to my hip and the only chance I got to take a picture of him was while he was enjoying a bag of chips. My cranky little man and I packed up and headed home after only a few hours on the plains and Ryan stayed to cheer on the tigers.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

There isn’t much that William will eat so when I make a dinner that he will actually eat there is quite a celebration around here!

Tonight’s dinner: Publix fried chicken, green beans, and mac and cheese…yum yum!

I have found that if I don’t cut up the food in small pieces William is more likely to eat it so I placed a whole drumstick on his plate and he LOVED it!

William likes to use a lot of utensils when he eats…

Yes folks-that is a green bean is William’s hand…

…and that is a green bean in his mouth!!! He only took one bite but we’ll take it…

For that he was rewarded with some smarties (candy). It’s not something I usually do but it’s the week after Halloween and I was proud of him

Happy 92nd Birthday Papa!

We celebrated Papa’s 92nd birthday last night. William loves his Great Papa and was very excited to celebrate with him!
