The most wonderful time of the year…

is when we get to take pictures with the amazing Grethel Van Epps! The disc arrived today and I could not be more excited to share some of my favorites with you!

Catching up…

I have some catching up to do and it might be a little out of order. First up…a day at the lake. Last week we spent Saturday at my parents’ lake cabin. The weather was beautiful and we had a wonderful day!

My parents found “Tommy” the turtle on their drive in. He was a little scared and only came out to move himself under William’s dump truck in the sand pile.

William and Ryan did a little fishing on the boat. I think this was William’s first time out on the fishing boat. They didn’t catch any fish but William didn’t seem to mind.

William skipped his nap for like the first time in his life. It won’t happen again any time soon Smile But I did have some quiet activities for him. He did some lacing cards with Oma and read some books. His favorite book these days is a Thomas the train book our sweet neighbor, Miss Wanda, gave him.

Virginia LOVEs to chat on the phone lately. It’s just about the cutest thing I have ever seen.

We took some walks and played in the sand. I cannot tell you how happy I was to see them enjoying the sand! I’m keeping my fingers crossed they will LOVE the beach this summer!

Easter Sunday

We were done with our Easter basket surprises and hunting eggs by 7am! William really got into hunting the eggs this year. He was very serious about it. Virginia found an egg and enjoyed playing with it while William hunted the rest.

He was ready to go out with BOTH baskets and hunt more eggs!

We dressed up in our Sunday best and headed to church.

Virginia does love William but she does not like for him to get too close to her which makes taking pictures with the both of them nearly impossible. Poor buddy…he tries so hard.
