Thanksgiving
We celebrated Thanksgiving at Mom and Dad's house on Thursday with the WHOLE family. We had a big crowd but it was lots of fun.
We will have one more family member joining us for Christmas. Baby Cather will be here next week!!! I was hoping he would make it until my birthday (Jennifer was not-she would rather him come earlier) but it looks like he'll be here a week early.
Daniel spilled chocolate milk and cranberry sauce on his pants...good thing it was a beautiful day and he could go pants-less.
Enjoying some rice puffs for his first Thanksgiving meal. William has become a very picky eater. He used to love to eat sweet potatoes, carrots, and pretty much anything else I put in his mouth, but these days he will eat puffs, apples, pears, bananas, and prunes.

Take me out to the Ball Game!
Mom, William, and I spent a beautiful November afternoon watching Dad pitch 2 innings at Rickwood Field. He did great!
Happy 91st Papa!
On November 2 we celebrated Papa's 91st birthday!! (The pictures aren't great but I had to document it)
Heath made a tag for Papa's electric chair.
Movin' and Groovin'
A couple of weeks ago I walked in to get William up from his nap and this is what I found....
He was standing in his crib. It was time to move the mattress down. Who would have thought that moving a mattress down to keep him from falling out would make me sad!

If you think that is big news... the next week he started CRAWLING!
Now we are having all kinds of fun around here!

More 6 Month pics with Grethel
Here are some of the pictures that Grethel Van Epps (http://www.gvephotography.com/) took of William for his 6 Month photo shoot. She also took his pictures when he was just 4 days old. I know I have said it before but she is an amazing photographer! You wouldn't know it from looking at these pictures but William had had a horrible cold for most of the week and was not having a fun time. In fact the few smiles that you see in these pictures were the only ones we got out of him that day. The pictures are still beautiful but, because Grethel is so amazing, we are meeting up with her later this month to try and get a few more pictures so stay tuned for more adorable pics of sweet William!

You can tell in this one he is not too thrilled with the whole photo shoot.

7 Months!
William is 7 months old! Wow! I feel like every day when Ryan comes home from work I am telling him about something new that William is doing. It's so fun-when he begins learning something new he does it over and over all day long. Sometimes its something small like holding a toy in each hand and banging them together or on something else or something as big as getting from his belly to a sitting position. He has been working on this for a couple of weeks now but today he perfected it and every time I put him on the floor (or in the bed-which has turned out to be quite a problem) he goes straight to sitting position and now is trying to pull up on everything and stand. He has been successful at this a few times. As far as crawling goes he gets up on his hands and knees, rocks back and forth, and then lunges forward. He is learning that he can get somewhere quicker by rolling or whine until I pick him up or give him the object that he wants. All in all play time is becoming more and more fun.
I started to give William some finger foods last week. I started with Gerber Wagon Wheels and it seems to be going good. We have also started giving him sippy cups with water. At first he would just play with them but he is starting to learn to actually drink the water.
