M-I–C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E

For the third year in a row my mom did not disappoint and knitted the cutest costumes for William and Virginia. I wanted them to match this year (it may be my only chance) and William LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so we went with Mickey Mouse and they were the cutest Mickey and Minnie I have ever seen!

Weekend Happenings

We had an absolutely beautiful weekend here. It was a little chilly on Saturday but that didn’t stop us from spending most of the day in the yard. It took Ryan most of the day to get all of the leaves up. There will be many more weekends spent doing that as the trees are still full of them!

William’s new ride! Thanks Macs!

Virginia LOVES her new hat and it was the perfect weekend to wear it!! Thanks Dave!

I still have three bushes of hydrangeas blooming!

Sunday morning we carved pumpkins. William did NOT want to touch the pumpkin but he did scoop out a few seeds with his spoon.

Sunday afternoon we had a neighborhood block party. We had an amazing turnout and awesome weather!

Now, time to rest up for Halloween!

Watch out, she is on the move!

Miss V has been crawling around for a couple of weeks now but this week she really took off and is finding all sorts of things to get in to.

The first thing she goes for when you put her down is William’s train. She can take down our whole track in less than 5
minutes. Thankfully William doesn’t get too upset and we enjoy building it back.

She is pulling up some. We lowered her crib a notch because I found her pulling up on the side one day during nap but she hasn’t done it since.

In other Virginia news, her two front bottom teeth are coming in. The first one seems to have bothered her more than the second.

Beautiful Fall Day

We spent this beautiful fall day at my parents’ lake cabin.

There is a beautiful farm across the lake.

Despite William’s best effort at calling the cows “HEY COW!” the donkey was the only animal that ventured up to the fence to see us.

The cows might have been a little busy doing “something” else. Smile
