The Day After…

Someone looks a little sleepy! We woke up to even more snow this morning…what a beautiful sight. We stayed in and played with all of our new toys and then bundled up to go outside and play. William seemed excited…

We were hoping to try out our new sled that Santa brought us but William had no interest in leaving his daddy’s arms.

I gave up on playing in the snow and just tried to get him to walk in it but I didn’t have much luck.

It wasn’t long before William was ready to head back inside…and that is exactly where we have stayed Smile

Snow-Take 2

Before we headed over to the McClendon’s for Christmas dinner we bundled up to play in the snow.

Unlike Dora, William was not too sure about the snow. He took a couple of steps in it and then he wanted his daddy to hold him. So, we called it a night and headed over to the Mc’s for more presents, more food, and more good company!

I was worn out and didn’t venture far from my chair but Ryan managed to get a few pictures from the evening. We were home and ALL in bed by 7:30 Smile

I’m dreaming of a White Christmas!!!

Except I didn’t dream it!! We arrived home from the Cather’s to a beautiful white covered neighborhood. There were beautiful flurries at the Cather’s but as soon as we were headed up the mountain to our house everything was covered in white. William’s face when he got out of the car was priceless!! We didn’t have much time to play because we had to get inside for naptime but I will be sure to get more pictures when we head out later. It hasn’t stopped snowing yet.

Christmas with the Cather’s

Round 2….Late morning we headed over to my brother’s house to have Christmas with all the Cather’s. It’s always a little wild and hard to capture pictures…especially of the little ones.

We had snow flurries all morning at our house so we bundled up. As soon as we got down the mountain the flurries changed to rain but it wasn’t long before we were seeing large snow flakes. Unfortunately they were not sticking but still beautiful to watch.

A bunch of new toys and these two just wanted to play in the shower…

Papa sits so quietly at our big family gatherings…just watching everyone and taking it all in.

It’s always hard to share our Oma when the other 4 grandkids are around…just wait 9 more weeks until he really has to learn to share!

But there is always room on our Great Papa’s lap for William. He LOVES his Papa and always wants a little snuggle time with him.

These two have gotten to be quite good buddies Smile
