Memorial Day Weekend at the Lake

We had a hard time getting the kids off the steps. There was a lot of lake traffic which meant a lot of waves. We have also been swimming lots since then so hopefully next trip they will be a little more adventurous. 

Someone just discovered the bunk beds in the downstairs bedroom at the lake. I’m sure he has been in there tons but somehow missed that there were ladders to climb up to the top bunk. He has never been much of a climber.I wonder how long it will before he finds the ladder to the loft upstairs.

This bed might have the best view in the house.

We didn’t do a lot of swimming but we did go on a really long boat ride. This is the first time that both kids have really enjoyed riding the boat at the same time. There is always a huge change when they grow into the life jackets. The first two years were rough for both of them.
