Spring Has Sprung...

...if only for a day. It looks like the cold, wind, and rain are moving in tonight but we sure enjoyed the last two days and hopefully the dreary weather won't stick around for long. William really enjoys being outside (thank goodness, I don't know what I would do if he didn't). I haven't been able to take many pictures because I'm having to hold William's hand as he walks around outside (crawling is not much fun outside) or watch him closely when he's sitting. He wants to eat EVERYTHING-pine bark, grass, leaves, rocks...  His crawling days are coming to an end (I think) and soon he will be walking all over the place. He has taken two steps and then thinks it's fun to fall into my arms or just take a seat. If he wants to keep up with his best bud across the street he's going to have to get movin'.

It looks like William still loves to swing as much as he did back in August when we got the swing!

Front Yard Update: The septic tank is fixed, the yard is demolished. Ryan worked hard to even out the yard, planted grass seed, and put down some straw to keep it from washing away (he actually planted seed twice-the first time we didn't put down straw b/c they were out at Lowes and the rain washed away all the seed). I could see some green poking through the straw today. Hopefully some green grass will be here soon! Next on the front yard to-do list: front and side walkway and fix the parking pad in the front. And then my favorite thing to do....plant some flowers!

We  took full advantage of the warm weather and worked and played in the backyard all day today. He started to make a play area for William a couple of weeks ago and today it is officially finished!

William's buddy Charlie (and my bff Julie) are in town this weekend and luckily we were able to spend some time together this afternoon. It was not the best time of day for the boys but we made the most of it!
We are all worn out from a full day of work and play!
