The Heart of Dixie Railroad has an Easter train ride called the Cottontail Express. It’s a short train ride, Easter Egg Hunt and other fun activities in a field, and then you hop on the train and head back to the station. We had tickets for the 10:00 train the Saturday before Easter but managed to miss our train. We hung around Calera, had some lunch, and thankfully made it on the 1:00 train.

William LOVES trains but does not love the loud whistle. Virginia just might love trains as much as her brother.
