First trip to the ER (sort of)

Ryan was out of town for the last few days of school. Things were actually going pretty smoothly until bath one night when William got Virginia's eye with a glow stick. She screamed but only for a minute but there was a little blood. I called a sweet friend who told me I should probably call the nurse at the pediatrician's office just to check. The nurse said we should head on down to the eye foundation just to get it checked out. It's 7:00 at this point, my kids bedtime.  My parents happened to be right next to the Eye Foundation at The Fish Market with some friends so we picked my mom up on our way. 

They were so sweet and gave Virginia the softest little monkey which she LOVES! William was such a sweet brother and they both did well. Virginia had a small scratch on the white part of her eye, nothing serious. We were in and out very quickly and both kids were tucked in by 9pm.
