It has been a rainy spring but we have had some beautiful weather too. We spent some time at my parents’ lake cabin. It’s just outside of Birmingham so it’s an easy one day trip.
William was super excited about fishing. And let me be clear by what he means by fishing. He and Virginia both have fishing rods that have a rubber fish on the end of the line. They cast and reel in the rubber fish every time and get so excited. We have tried to get him to really fish but he was not at all excited about having a real fish on the line.
Out for a little hike/bike ride to see the cows and horses
Watching the fish feeder go off with Opa-they were both so amazed at all the fish that came to eat. They both kept turning around to make sure that we were all watching.
These two napped in the same room and did great!
We had a great day and can’t wait to get back there soon!
